Position Description:
Duty Location is Las Vegas, NV. The candidate is responsible for the conduct of field surveys, preparation of the field notes and draft plats for Cadastral Surveys assigned to them. Plan and conducts surveys and resurveys involving problems of substantial variety and complexity. Functioning on own initiative as a field party chief, the incumbent coordinates and integrates all separate phases of each project and exercises professional knowledge and judgment in adapting and applying methods, techniques and procedures in the day-to-day field operations. In addition the candidate supports Environmental Management and Civil Engineering programs of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) activities that involve sensitive and complex topics. Develops GIS spatial and non-spatial databases, including the conversion of thematic source maps from analog to digital form through the use of appropriate hardware and software. Augments GIS database by digitizing map information, importing existing digital data or converting data. Participates in professional meetings and develops GIS presentations for senior staff requirements.

The successful candidate will be capable of requirements analysis, synthesis, derivation and flow down. Additionally, the candidate will lead small team efforts in system and sub-system design based on allocated requirements.
Provide systems engineering support to the software and integration & test organizations throughout the implementation phase. Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis & Design techniques, UML, and Service Oriented Architectures is desired. Previous experience/knowledge in the application of the concepts and methods described in the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and the C4ISR Architecture Framework is also desired.
Working knowledge of the intelligence domains (IMINT, SIGINT, MASINT, HUMINT, MTI, Geospatial) is desired. Familiarity and/or direct experience with any current Army C4ISR system helpful. Requires excellent communications and organizational capabilities as well as an ability to work independently.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems. Secret clearance.

Preferred qualifications: Masters Degree or 5-10 years experience. SCI accesses desired.

Be part of an IA team responsible for security engineering and Certification and Accreditation of Multi-Security Level Systems.

Candidate should be familiar with multiple C&A Processes to include: DITSCAP/DIACAP, DoDI 8500.2, and DoDIIS C&A Guide. Familiarity with IATF, DCID 6/3 and JDSCISS is also essential. Strong oral and written communication skills are required as candidate will be drafting SSAA documentation and security certification procedures, as well as presenting information to management and customers.

This position will be responsible for field applications and operations of Sarnoff Aerial Video Surveillance technology products, and will provide both technical and operational support for this technology area. Responsibilities will include demonstrating, operating and troubleshooting Sarnoff's products in the field. We seek an individual with the energy and ambition to learn about Sarnoff's cutting edge technologies in this area. This individual will work closely with Production and clients, as well as interfacing with Sarnoff Technical staff - so communication across a broad spectrum of areas is essential.
 

Position requires relevant and strong knowledge of image or video exploitation technologies and System & Network Administration. Position would be well suited to former military [especially Aerial Reconnaissance, UAV Targeting or Special Forces Operatives Personnel]. Experience in advanced imaging/computer vision technologies is desired, with knowledge of the following areas [among others] preferred - video surveillance, visual navigation, image exploitation, 3-D image enhancement, and motion detection. We specialize in innovative engineering solutions, facility design and protection, hardware design and development, facility assessments and a variety of other products and services.

Responsibilities: Operate as a member of a team of highly trained experts deployed from the Springfield Research Facility (SRF) by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to conduct Balanced Survivability Assessments (BSAs) of the mission vulnerabilities of facilities to a broad threat spectrum. The Utility Specialist is responsible for assessing every mission-critical utility support system, identifying vulnerabilities in those systems and summarizing those findings in an outbrief and follow-up written report.

Requirements: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access as well as US citizenship is required. A minimum of 8 years of experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related discipline is required; Masters preferred. Prior military experience is a plus. The Utility Specialist must be knowledgeable regarding: electrical power generating and distribution systems and equipment; HVAC systems and equipment; fluid/mechanical systems, such as water, fuels, sewage, hydraulics and compressed gasses.
