Alternative Business Solutions - Process Engineer/Project Manager

Location: Pampa, TX
Salary: $80K - $90K (will pay relocation)

The successful candidate will be responsible for project development and execution activities including project scope, budgeting, completing the appropriation process, writing bid contracts, creating drawing packages and coordinating construction and commissioning. This may include due diligence and some commercial negotiation and some departmental budgeting and administrative duties.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Strong background in natural gas processing, treating & dehydration design and plant optimization / troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with and manage a diverse group of field and professionals.
• Ability to work independently with complete self-direction.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with others, both orally and in writing.

Job Description:

• Manages capital and expansion projects. Includes project reporting, budget and schedule management.
• Develops scopes and estimates for various projects.
• Coordinates all phases of projects including scope, design, ROW, contractor, procurement, inspection, construction and commissioning activities working closely w/operations and commercial staff.
• Performs other projects as assigned.
• Participates in the due diligence process related to acquisitions and mergers providing an Engineering perspective.
• Participates in the development and training of associate level engineers.
• Reviews system from engineering perspective to identify and develop capital and operating budgets to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
• Participates in the development of the capital-spending budget.

Direct Reports: None

Travel: 15%

Dimensions:

• Responsible for capital projects from $ 10 to $50 M per year.
• There i’s a 10% bonus incentive based on three criteria: company performance, departmental performance and individual performance. This is paid out in February and will be prorated for the first year of employment.
