We specialize in innovative hardware engineering solutions including underground navigational instrumentation, object identification and avoidance, various custom and specialized horizontal drilling devices and a variety of other products and services.
Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be rewarded with the opportunity to immediately jump in and help solve a wide variety of unusual and difficult problems using a wide breath of interesting technologies. This talented engineer is expected to wear a variety of hats and operate independently and as a member of small Integrated Product teams solving both software and hardware challenges. This engineer will work closely with senior EE’s and scientists to define and craft solutions to unique problems.
The responsibilities of this person will include navigation algorithm development for a variety of inertial-like guidance and navigation products, including guidance system design and analysis, guidance law development, state estimation, trajectory shaping and optimization, system trade studies and system requirements flowdown. Candidate will also provide technical solutions, which are imaginative, thorough, and practicable and consistent with program objectives.
Requirements: Successful candidates will possess a BS (MS or PHD highly preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science. A minimum of ten (10) years relevant hands-on experience is required, preferably in an R&D lab environment. Experience with control system design, linear and non-linear system modeling and Kalman Filtering is a must as is software skills in C/C++/C# and Matlab. The successful candidate will have a strong data analysis background and be versatile in latest computer simulation techniques. Applicants must possess a current secret clearance for consideration.
