Minimum Requirements:
-- 5 years experience overseeing multiple projects, as a Network Systems
Engineer on projects incorporating multiple sites with both leased and tactical
circuits
-- 5 years experience with Cisco Networking equipment
-- 5 years of experience with Voice Over IP (VOIP) Cisco Call Manager (CCM)
systems
-- 5 years of experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC); both IP and serial
based systems
-- 5 years of experience supporting Army corps or division automation planning,
and supporting automation requirements and exercises
-- Hands on Cisco systems engineering skills including network design advanced
routing and switching technologies, and internetwork troubleshooting
-- Thorough Cisco systems engineering skills including integration of
multi-platform environments, integration with tactical networks, and firewall
and related security and internetworking skills
-- Network encryption skills including experience with KIV-7, KIV-19, KG-175,
and KG-235
-- Past experience in network monitoring, management and troubleshooting skills
that include familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
dependent monitoring tools, that include familiarity with CiscoWorks,
SolarWinds, Packet Sniffers, and Data Traffic Flow Analysis
-- Possess multiplexing experience (CX-1500 ATM MUX, FCC-100, Promina, LARSCOM
Mega-T IMUX, ADTRAN TSU-600, and Campus RS Systems).
-- Have knowledge of Army operations, organization, terminology and the
execution of staff planning (Military Decision Making Process)
-- A working understanding of Army information management process and
supporting communications systems that include Mobile Subscriber Equipment
(MSE), Ground Tactical Satellite Communications systems (TACSAT), Satellite
Communication using the KU frequency band (KU SATCOM), wireless networking
technologies and related technical communication equipment
-- Ability to work on several simultaneous projects, reacting constructively to
new and changing business and technology requirements and deliverables
-- High level of self motivation, productivity, attention to detail and be
well-organized
-- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, verbal and written
communication skills
-- Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in
problem-solving
-- Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to provide
training to staff and faculty
-- A valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
-- Ability to read and speak English
-- Active government issued TS security clearance or the ability to obtain DoD
issued clearance

Education:
-- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Current certification as a
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and a minimum of one of four CCNP
-- Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), and/or Cisco Certified
Internetwork Professional (CCIP)

Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and correct problems with computer hardware and software,
Technologically Enhanced Classrooms v.2 and v.3 (TEC2/3) systems and software
- Network troubleshooting
- Replacement of peripheral devices
- Conduct training for end users
- Testing and reporting security vulnerabilities
- Update and revise policies and procedures
- Working cooperatively with TTI client on related network issues and firmware
upgrades
- Building images for workstations and deploying
- Documenting work in trouble ticket and project management software
- Communicating with the end user and team members
Requirements
- 3 years experience in diagnosing, repairing and installing computer systems
and desktop support
- Ability to multi-task, work with a team and follow procedures
- Strong written and oral communications skills are required
- A valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance are necessary
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance
- Ability to read and speak English

Education
- Associate's Degree in Applied Computing/Computer Science and / or MCP/MCSE
certifications

Security Threat Avoidance Technology (STAT) Software Engineer

There is an opening in Florida for a Security Threat Avoidance Technology (STAT) Software Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a network security product that provides a comprehensive vulnerability assessment tool for dispersed networks that can be operated remotely, enabling network security personnel to perform enterprise-wide assessments. This is a very fast paced environment where the candidate will work on a product with high visibility to customers. This position requires proficiency in C++, UNIX and Windows, a practical knowledge and understanding of Internet protocols and LAN technology, and at least four years hands-on experience in a software engineering capacity. 2+ years hands-on experience in the development of network security-related products and 1+ years experience in a project leading capacity is preferred.
